Man threatened with glass bottle in robbery in Corby park

A 45-year-old man was threatened with a glass bottle and robbed of cash in Corby last week.

The incident took place in West Glebe Park in the town on Friday, August 29, between 2pm and 3pm.

The victim was cycling through the wooded area of the park, and as he passed a group of six or seven men, was pushed off his bike.

He was then punched and kicked and threatened with the glass bottle. The men searched the victim’s pockets and stole cash.

The men were described to police as having Irish accents and one of them had curly black hair.
