A man was safely talked down from the roof of a building in Rushden.
The incident happened on Saturday (August 10) at about 7.30pm when the 29-year-old climbed onto the roof of the night shelter in High Street South.
A police spokesman said: “We attended the scene, along with the fire service. At about 10pm the man was safely talked down from the roof of the building, after first refusing to come down.
“Some traffic was diverted but the incident caused minimal disruption.”
