A man was taken to hospital after his hand got trapped in machinery in Corby.

The Magpas Helimedix team was called to help after an industrial accident where a man’s hand became trapped in machinery in Corby just before 1am today (Thursday).

Doctor Simon Lewis and paramedic Ollie Robinson went out in Magpas’ rapid response BMW and gave specialist A&E level treatment at the scene.

The patient, a man in his 20s, was then taken to Coventry Hospital in a stable condition by a crew from East Midlands Ambulance Service.
