Man stabbed by teenage gang in Wellingborough

A man suffered stab wounds to his leg after being attacked by a group of teenagers in Wellingborough.

The victim was approached by the teenagers at about 1am yesterday (Sunday) in Lea Way before being attacked.

A police spokesman said: “Following a verbal altercation, the victim was stabbed in the leg, but was able to walk away in the direction of Northampton Road.

“The offending group are thought to be between three and four teenage males, one of whom is thought to have had blonde hair.

“They were previously in a larger group of six to eight people, including at least one female.

“Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.”
