Man stabbed in Kettering park

A man was stabbed in a Kettering park last night during a robbery.

Officers would now like to speak to anybody who witnessed a robbery in Grafton Park, off Grafton Street, in Kettering, which resulted in a man being stabbed in the abdomen.

The incident happened last night (Thursday, 1 December) at about 11pm.

The 31-year-old victim was walking with a friend when he was approached by two or three offenders who punched and stabbed him. During the incident he was robbed of a Hugo Boss wallet which contained cash and bank cards.

As a result of his injuries the victim is being treated at Kettering General Hospital and is expected to be released later today.
