Northamptonshire Police were called to the incident at 3.20pm on Friday (September 14) following reports of an altercation, between two men, outside a betting shop.

A spokeswoman for the force today told the Chronicle & Echo: "One of the men then attacked the other with a knife, causing minor injuries, before running off towards Sheep Street and the area near the bus station.

"The first man involved is described as black, with dreadlocks, about 6ft, wearing a hoodie and white trousers.

"He was also riding a bike. The second man involved is described as black, aged 17 - 25, about 5ft 5in, of slim build with close cut hair.

"He wore a grey tracksuit with a camouflage print and was carrying a black rucksack."

No arrests have been made yet.
