Man stabbed in Boxing Day incident in Corby

A man was stabbed in the neck and chest on the Danesholme estate in Corby on Boxing Day.

The victim was taken to Kettering General Hospital for treatment and police say his injuries are not life-threatening.

A police spokesman said: “It is believed an altercation occurred in the Talisman public house, and continued out on to Danesholme Road. During the dispute, a 29-year-old man sustained stab wounds to the neck and chest.”

The incident happened between 11.30pm and 11.40pm and police believe a man involved in the dispute may have run off in the direction of Copenhagen Road.
