Man stabbed in arm by gang in Wellingborough

A man was stabbed in the arm by a gang who stole his mobile phone during an attack in Wellingborough.

The 22-year-old was walking along Thomas Street at about 3pm on Sunday, May 25, when he was approached by a gang of about six people.

One of the members of the gang punched him in the face and another stabbed him in the arm with a knife.

During the assault, another member of the gang took the man’s phone.

The gang was made up of two black men, two white men, one mixed-race man and one white woman.

One of the black men was about 17 while the rest were all in their mid-twenties.
