Man seriously hurt after tent deliberately set alight in Corby

Police were called to Commercial Road at 9.30pm after reports of a man sustaining injuries in a fire.

It is believed the 28-year-old was injured when a tent was deliberately set alight.

The man has been taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody while inquiries into what happened take place.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have any information about this incident.
