Man robbed in Kettering attack

Robbers searched a man’s pockets and forced him to lie on the ground before escaping with his phone and bank card.

Police are appealing for information about the robbery which took place on Wednesday, November 28, sometime between 6.10pm and 6.45pm in the Hodge Way area of Kettering.

The 20-year-old victim was walking from Windmill Avenue to Hodge Way when he was stopped by three men who used threatening language to get money from him.

A police spokesman: “The offenders searched the victim’s pockets and removed his phone and bank card.

“They also removed the victim’s baseball cap from his head before forcing him to lie down before making off.”

The offenders are described as men aged between 18 and 20, of medium build, between 5ft 6in and 6ft, and wore wearing dark clothing, hats and scarves around their faces.
