Man pulled to the floor and robbed in Corby underpass

A man was pulled to the ground and robbed while walking through an underpass in Corby.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place in Oakley Road, Corby, at about 1.30pm on Wednesday, November 23.

The 26-year-old victim was walking through the underpass from the Exeter estate towards Tesco Extra when he heard footsteps behind him.

He was pulled to the floor and money taken from his jacket before the offender ran off back towards the Exeter estate.

The offender is described as a 5ft 8in white man in his 20s, of average build, who wore a black scarf around his nose and mouth, a grey hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.
