The incident took place shortly after 2.30am on Sunday (May 29) outside the Flames takeaway in George Street.

The 22-year-old victim suffered a fractured jaw and was knocked unconscious after being punched in the face.

The offender is described as a white man, in his late 20s, with light coloured hair that was slightly receding at the front.

He was wearing a grey hooded top and blue jeans that were cropped at the knees.
