Man knocked unconscious and robbed near his house in Corby

A man was knocked unconscious and then robbed as he was about to go into his home in Corby.

Police are are appealing for witnesses to the attack

The victim had just got out of a taxi in Halifax Square, Corby, some time between midnight and 12.10am on Monday, October 24, when the attack took place.

A police spokesman said: “As he approached his back gate, he was struck over the back of the head and then robbed of cash.”
