A man was left with injuries to his wrist after a hit-and-run in Corby.

The man was walking along Oakley Road between 11pm and midnight on Saturday, March 18, when he was knocked down as he crossed the junction with Burghley Drive.

A police spokesman said he fell to the ground, injuring his wrist.

The vehicle involved in the collision failed to stop and made off from the scene.
