Man held in headlock and robbed in Kettering

A man was held in a headlock before before robbed in Saunders Close, Kettering.

The 18-year-old victim was walking down an alleyway leading to Saunders Close in the town when he was approached from behind by two men.

A police spokesman said: “One of the men held the victim in a headlock while the other searched his pockets and stole cash.

“The offenders then ran off towards Westfield park.”

The robbery took place between 8.15pm and 8.45pm on Tuesday, November 5.

The offenders are both white men, in their late teens to early 20s.

One of the men is about 6ft, of medium build. He was unshaven and wore a dark blue hooded top, grey jogging bottoms and dark blue trainers.

The second offender is about 5ft 7in, of stocky build. He had blue eyes and a tattoo behind his left ear. He wore dark jeans, a black hooded top, white trainers and a black woollen hat.

Witnesses, or anyone with information about the attack, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
