A 20-year-old Corby man charged with burglary at the home of murdered nightclub owner David ‘Les’ Ross appeared at Northampton Crown Court on Friday (July 19).

Steven Gaskell, of Lynton Grove, on the Exeter estate, is accused of breaking into the property in Chelveston Drive, in the town, on Friday, December 14.

The case was adjourned until September 11 and Gaskell was remanded in custody.

Mr Ross, 39, was found dead at the Village Inn Express Hotel in The Jamb, Corby, On Monday, December 17.
