A 39-year-old man has suffered multiple leg injuries after a cage fell on him at a Corby industrial estate.
The incident took place yesterday evening (May 19).
The man was initially treated by East Midlands Ambulance Service, whose crew called for an air ambulance to provide advanced pre-hospital care.
The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance landed at the scene, adjacent to the A6086, just after 7.20pm. The patient was then given advanced intravenous pain relief.
He was then airlifted to University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire for further treatment. The crew landed at the hospital shortly after 8pm.
