A cyclist who suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car in Northampton, has sadly died in hospital.

The collision between the white bicycle and a red Toyota Yaris took place at about 1.35pm on Saturday, August 8, at the junction of Leslie Road and Lower Adelaide Street.

As a result of the collision, the 23-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital Coventry, where he sadly died yesterday (Tuesday, August 11).
