Youngsters are invited to have fun in and out of the water this summer at Surf ‘n’ Turf sessions put on by Corby Council.
Surf ‘n’ Turf is an instructor led class that will engage your child in fun games and activities that aim to improve their co-ordination, teamwork and social skills.
The session consists of 45 minutes of dry side activities in the studio at Corby East Midlands International Pool and then 45 minutes of pool based activities in the swimming pool.
The sessions take place from 11am to 1pm on Wednesday, August 5, Wednesday, August 12 and Wednesday, August 19.
They are open to youngsters aged between seven and 11-years-old and cost £4 per session.
Corby Council’s lead member for community, Cllr John McGhee, said: “The Surf ‘n’ Turf sessions are perfect for youngsters that want to have fun in and out of the water.
“These sessions are just a part of the wide variety of activities on offer for youngster over the summer in Corby.”
