Love Corby banners go up to promote the town

A Corby organisation is sharing its love on one of the town's main roads with the installation of 20 lamppost banners.

The colourful Love Corby banners have gone up along Westcott Way in the town.

The aim is to raise the profile of the town as a destination, and highlight all that Corby has to offer residents, visitors and businesses through the Love Corby website.

The banners are all sponsored by subscribers of Love Corby and will be in place for the coming year.

A feature of the Love Corby website is the jobs section, which is supported by the Job Centre as well as employers in Corby.

The website has already secured several successful job placements and it is continuing to attract job seekers and employers.

Chairman of Love Corby Andrew Norman said: “This is the next stage in the Love Corby marketing campaign which I hope will strike a chord with residents and visitors, encouraging new visitors to the town through finding businesses, events and offers on the website.”

Love Corby is a not-for-profit organisation run by business people based in Corby for the benefit of Corby with the website being the centre of its activity.

The site and businesses are supported through regular and proactive social media activity.
