WELLINGBOROUGH MP Peter Bone said Government plans to reform the House of Lords could bring down the coalition.
Mr Bone said: “I don’t think there’s any appetite among Conservative MPs to reform the House of Lords.
“It does seem a very strange thing to be doing and something we wouldn’t be doing if it was a Conservative Government.
“It’s our Liberal Democrat friends who are pushing for it. There’s potential to bring the coalition down if the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives disagree on something and we do quite clearly disagree on this issue.”
