The Liberal Democrats have announced their Kettering and Wellingborough candidates for the election.
The party says Chris McGlynn will join the fight in Kettering, with Chris Nelson on the ballot paper in Wellingborough and Rushden.
Mr Nelson, who has a degree in law from Oxford Brookes University, stood in Kettering at the last election, where he won 7,498 votes, or 16 per cent.
Mr McGlynn was the Lib Dems’ candidate in Daventry in 2010, where he finished second with more than 10,000 votes, or 19 per cent.
He also contested the 2013 county council election in the Wicksteed division of Kettering, earning a five per cent share of the vote.
The Lib Dems are yet to announce who will be their candidate in Corby.
