Large quantity of drugs seized during police raid in Thrapston

A large quantity of drugs were seized by police after a raid on a property in Thrapston this morning.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences

Officers seized Class A and Class B drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act while carrying out the raid at an address in Clare Drive.

Two men aged 19 and 21 were also arrested at the property on suspicion of drugs offences and are currently being held in custody for questioning.

A police spokesman said: “Today’s warrant is part of an on-going investigation into the supply of Class A drugs in this part of the county.

“We won’t tolerate drug dealing and the hugely negative impact it has on the local community.

“We will always listen to peoples’ concerns and encourage members of the public to let us know of anyone they suspect to be housing drug dealers or allowing the supply of drugs from their premises.
