A Kettering theatre company is looking for a cast for its upcoming production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
C&D Theatre Productions, which celebrated its two-year anniversary last month, is planning auditions for its latest production based on the classic Roald Dahl novel.
The production will take the form of a play but will also include a few musical numbers, creating lots of opportunities for members of the community to get involved.
Artistic director Chris Lynch is looking for people of all ages to play a variety of roles within the production, from Charlie Bucket to Grandpa Joe, with no experience needed.
He said: “Our aim is to unite the local community and unite the people of Kettering.
“We want actors, dancers and singers.”
Auditions will take place at the Keystone Youth Centre, 97 Rockingham Road, NN16 9HX, from midday to 3pm on Sunday, June 19, as well as from 5pm to 7.30pm on Monday, June 20, and Wednesday, June 22.
People are also reminded to keep an eye out for golden tickets which will be hidden across the area, which will grant those who discover one free entry to one of the performances later this year.
C&D Theatre Productions is also set to be the first Kettering company to make an appearance at Edinburgh Fringe Festival later this year.
