Kettering teenager pleads not guilty to drugs offences after £2,000 of cocaine discovered at his home
Craig Shields, 19, of Printers Yard, appeared at court today (Wednesday) charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin and possession of a knife in a public place.
The court heard Shields, who pleaded not guilty to all three offences, was arrested by police in Alexandra Street on August 15 after receiving an anonymous tip-off that a man had a knife and was waving it around.

Police then searched his home and found a further 175 wraps of cocaine with a street value of £2,420 - but Shields denied all knowledge of the drugs found in his house.
Daniel Green, for Shields, said he was a man of good character and that he accepted possession of the drugs found in his shoe, but they were not to supply.
Shields was released on unconditional bail to appear for a trial at Northampton Crown Court on July 13.
