Kettering set for annual carnival

The parade will start from the Grange Estate at 1pm, making its way down Stamford Road and Montagu Street before turning left onto Rockingham Road.

It will then makes it way round to the High St before going down Lower Street and finishing at the Rockingham Road Pleasure Park at about 2.30pm.

There will also be a fete from 11am at the Pleasure Park, with stalls, burger vans, bouncy castles and many children’s amusements.

The fete will run until 5.30pm, with an ‘end of carnival’ dance taking place at 8pm.

Admission to the dance costs £5, with tickets available at the Athletic Club in Rockingham Road.
