Kettering school releases balloons for Children in Need

A Kettering school held a balloon release yesterday (Friday) in support of Children in Need.

St Edward’s Catholic Primary School in Eastleigh Road released more than 40 balloons into the sky.

Each of their seven classes wrote their own class prayer and attached it to their balloons.

The class which sees their balloon travel the furthest will win a treat.

Sophie Hutchison from the school said: “The piece of paper these prayers were attached to also asked the finder to call the school if they find it.

“It’s now a waiting game as we are waiting for that all important call so whose balloon with the prayer attached which has travelled the furthest will win a treat for their class.”
