The Kettering branch of an Italian restaurant chain is this weekend organising two days of fundraising for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research charity.
Staff at Frankie & Benny’s, in Pegasus Court, Wellingborough Road, will take it in turns on a rowing machine.
There will also be activities such as face painting, and cars will be brought to the restaurant. The vehicles will be filled with balloons, with customers invited to guess how many are inside.
Frankie & Benny’s is also offering free children’s meals on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2, with diners asked to make a donation to the charity instead.
The chain says all of its members of staff are proud to help Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. Nationwide, Frankie & Benny’s has raised more than £10,000 so far, with fundraising events planned all year.
