Kettering-area residents whose bins were not collected yesterday (Monday) are being asked to leave them out for the next few days so bin men can collect them later in the week.
Kettering Council said its refuse and recycling service is now fully operational following the snowy weather and bin crews will be emptying as many bins as ‘operationally possible’ today.
A spokesman for the council said: “Some streets are still not accessible and we are asking residents who did not have a collection to leave their bins and boxes at their kerb-side collection point. We will keep returning until collections are complete.
“We would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding during the adverse weather conditions.”
