A Kettering pub is celebrating its first anniversary with a two-day party over the August bank holiday weekend.

No.3 Pub and Kitchen, in Silver Street, will host a barbecue at 9pm on Saturday, August 28, with a sausage and cider festival the following day.

Manager Shaun Redhead, 33, is looking forward to the pub’s milestone and is excited by its future.

He said: “Business has been brilliant since we opened and we’ve kept that going into our anniversary.

“We’ve completely changed the venue into a proper family pub awith a new menu, which has gone down really well.”

The pub opened its new garden bar two weeks ago, and has already attracted lots of interest in its celebratory weekend.

Shaun added: “We’re really looking forward to the sausage and cider festival, with at least six local ciders on offer.

“The response we’ve had to it has been great – sausage and cider festivals are always popular and we hope ours is too.”
