Kettering man Paul Goss has arranged a charity poker night as part of a personal project to complete 50 challenges before he turns 50-years-old later this year.

The event takes place at Casino MK, in Milton Keynes, on Thursday, April 28, from 7pm, and the event is raising funds for Child Bereavement UK.

Mr Goss said: “The buy in for the tournament has been set at £50 per person. Of this, £5 goes to the casino, £20 goes directly to the charity and £25 goes into the prize fund.

“Of course I understand that £20 is a lot of money to give out of your buy in, so I have been e-mailing the world and have managed to amass a huge additional prize list totalling over £2700 to add to the cash prizes on the night.

“The great thing is, you don’t have to be great at poker to stand a chance of winning. The top ten players will split the cash and will also pick up one of the top ten prizes.”

The prizes include meals at restaurants and festival tickets.
