The event, which organisers are anticipating will attract more than 36,000 people, will be held over Easter bank holiday weekend as usual but will now run from Saturday, March 26, to Monday, March 28.

Set within the spectacular grounds of Kelmarsh Hall, the family-orientated event boasts everything from world-class field sports competitions to have-a-go opportunities.

The jam-packed show, which is free for accompanied children aged 15 and under, also offers more than 200 exhibition stands, picnic areas, a crammed main arena schedule, children’s entertainment, food festival, craft and antiques fairs and live music.

Run by Countryman Fairs, Kelmarsh Country Show is now in its 11th year.

Chief executive officer Ian Harford said: “We are absolutely delighted to see it grow into a three-day event.

“Since the show first launched back in 2005 with just 20,000 visitors, it has been a success story.

“The show has grown and grown with visitor and exhibitor numbers increasing each year, so it made complete sense to extend its offering.”
