The deadline for nominations for the Northamptonshire Education Awards is almost upon us – but there is still a little bit of time left to nominate your top teachers and overperforming schools.
The last day for nominations is this Friday, June 2.
The Education Awards are run in partnership with our sister papers the Northampton Chronicle and Echo and the Daventry Express.
The grand final takes place later this month on Wednesday, June 28, with a bash at Wicksteed Park Pavilion in Kettering.
We have already had a number of nominations but are still seeking them in the Lifetime Achievement, Secondary School of the Year, Inspirational Pupil, and Inspirational Teacher categories.
The other categories include Changemaker, Unsung Hero, SEN Provision of the Year, Primary School of the Year, Sporting Achievement, and Community Award.
Telegraph editor David Summers said: “Teachers and schools, and the pupils in them, work tirelessly and often don’t get the recognition they deserve.
“The Northamptonshire Education Awards is a perfect opportunity to celebrate those who help our children be their very best and I would urge you to make your nominations before the deadline.”
The Northamptonshire Education Awards are run alongside the Northamptonshire Youth Ambition Awards 2017.
