Jobs up for grabs at discount store coming to Raunds

QD Stores has started recruiting for staff to work in its new branch in Brook Street in the town.

It has been advertising online, with a range of full and part-time jobs on offer.

An advert posted on the QD Stores Facebook page earlier this month said: “We are excited to be looking for new members to join our new team here in Raunds.

“We are recruiting for a variety of part-time, full-time and managerial positions.

“If you are flexible, have a flair for retail and can offer excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.”

QD Stores is an independently owned chain of discount retail outlets situated throughout the East of England and the Home Counties.

The chain sells a range of products, including furniture, garden and outdoor items, toys and games, homeware, pet supplies, electricals and clothing.

Anyone interested in applying to work at the new store can go to www.qdgroup.co.uk and click on vacancies to download an application form.

The Northants Telegraph contacted QD Stores for a comment on the new store and to find out how many jobs are being created, but they have not yet responded.

But according to the QD Stores website, the new Raunds store is ‘opening soon.’
