Irthlingborough artist makes county debut at Corby gallery

A sculptor has made his county debut showing off his early pieces of work at Corby's Rooftop Gallery.

David Fowell, who was born in Rushden but now lives in Irthlingborough, trained as a chef in the 1970s at the former Corby Technical College and worked around the UK as a chef.

But after leaving the catering trade, he is now pursuing a career as a sculptor and visual artist.

Mr Fowell’s work is currently on show at the Rooftop Gallery in Queen’s Square, Corby, as part of the Art 4 All scheme.

Art 4 All is an open entry exhibition which aims to show the range of artistic talent in Corby from complete beginners to established artists.

The Art 4 All exhibition is running until Saturday, April 23, and is open from 11am to 4pm.
