Irish dancers are part of world class team

Irish dancers from Corby were part of the teams which took top titles at the World Championships in London.

The girls all travel to Birmingham to train at the Carey Academy of Irish Dance.

Pictured with former Corby mayor Judy Caine are Cleona Haughton-Brown and Tiana Haughton, both 14, who were in the world champion under-16 ceili and figure teams, and Erin McClairmont, eight, who came second in the under-12s ceili event.

Darcy Nolan, 18, not pictured, was in the senior ladies figure team which also took the world title.
