There will be an international flavour at Oakley Vale family fun day in Corby next month.
The programme of entertainment will feature Irish dancers, drummers and dancers from the Wadnazai project which aims to promote African culture in the town, and a belly dancing demonstration.
The event is being held on Saturday, July 6, from 12.30pm until 5pm, at Oakley Vale Primary School.
In the morning, from 9am until 11.30am, there will be a car boot sale and from 6pm until 10pm everyone is invited to a disco.
Other attractions on the day will include a hog roast, a bar, face-painting, a bouncy castle, stalls, and performances by the Oakley Rangers, Frank Marvel and the Marvalettes, Kevin Costello’s Irish dancers, Nene Valley Dancers and Glee, belly dancer Dorina Timar, Sax in the City, Oakley Vale Primary Choir and Alex Hyde.
There will be zumba sessions and Lakelands Records will be at the fun day.
