Children in Corby are being asked to nominate their Mum in a Million.

Asda Corby is calling on children in the town to nominate their mum for the chance to win a VIP prize just in time for Mother’s Day.

Store colleague Lisa Mellon will be telling school pupils about the competition on her monthly visits and urging them to take part. Other children can do the same by making a card which explains why their mum is so special and handing it in to customer services at the store on Phoenix Parkway.

Nominations are being accepted up to Wednesday, March 6, and once the competition has been judged, three winning mums will be invited into store and treated to a new George wardrobe, flowers and other treats in a prize worth £100 each.

Lisa said: “We’re really excited about the ‘Mum in a Million’ competition being launched and the chance to reward our winning mums with this brilliant prize. Mother’s Day is always a special time and it’s great that we can give local kids the chance to show their appreciation – I’m sure it will be a very difficult one to judge.”
