A huge factory blaze which started in the early hours today (Wednesday, June 26) was tackled by 90 firefighters.
Sixteen crews from around the county were called out at 3.20am to Cavalry Hill Industrial Park in Weedon.
A spokesman from the fire service said: “The fire has now been contained with minimal lasting impact to surrounding businesses and properties.
“Damping down operations will continue for some time.”
The police closed the road near the industrial park, at the Cavalry Fields and Cavalry Hill junction in Weedon.
There will also be the likelihood of slow moving traffic on the A45 due to a high pressure hose placed across the carriageway.
A police spokesman said: “There will also be smoke in the general area, so we would ask traffic to slow down and be mindful that visibility might be reduced.”
