The Health and Safety Executive has confirmed that it is investigating an incident at a recycling centre in Kettering in which a man was injured after falling from some equipment.
The 40-year-old man was airlifted to hospital following the fall, which happened at about 11.20am last Friday, January 3.
The incident took place at a site owned by the Shanks Group, on Kettering’s Telford Way Industrial Estate.
He was flown to University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, where he is said to be still recovering from chest injuries.
Today (Thursday) a spokesman for the Health and Safety Executive confirmed its officers were investigating.
