Hooded man attacked woman in Kettering street

The woman was assaulted as she walked along William Street, Kettering, in the early hours of Sunday (October 30).

She was approached by a man who grabbed her handbag, dragging her to the floor as he did so. He then drove off in a white Transit van.

The incident happened at about 1.50am.

The offender was aged between 20 and 30, around 5ft 10ins, of medium build. He had light stubble and was wearing a grey hooded jacket, with the hood up and dark blue jeans.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.
