A HOLLYWOOD legend best known for his role in the Police Academy films is coming to the county.

Michael Winslow, who played Sergeant “Motor Mouth” Jones in the films, is touring the UK for the first time with his Edinburgh Fringe sell-out show The Man of 10,000 Voices.

And he will be visiting the Corby Core on Saturday, June 16.

Mr Winslow’s tour is billed as him “imitating the impossible using only his voice.”

He was born in 1958 on Fairchild Air Force Base in the USA and started imitating aircraft noises.

He was discovered by Bud Friedman, founder of the New York Improvisation Comedy Club, who in the pas, has launched the careers of the likes of Bette Midler, Andy Kaufman and Jay Leno.
