Kettering General Hospital wants local people to put themselves forward so they can have a say on the future of healthcare in the area.
The hospital’s foundation trust is holding elections to appoint seven new governors to help shape its future.
As a foundation trust the hospital has a board made up of executive and non-executive directors accountable to a 25-strong council of governors who represent the local area and local stakeholders.
Postal vote elections are being held this autumn and members of the public can put themselves forward to represent their area as a governor. There are two vacancies for Corby and two for East Northants. There is one vacancy each for Kettering and Wellingborough.
Hospital chairman Graham Foster said: “We are looking for committed and enthusiastic local people who want to help the hospital to improve its services.”
