A programme aimed at helping people get back into work in Wellingborough has been launched

People struggling to get back into work are being invited to take part in a Wellingborough-based project.

The 3steps2work programme is available to people living in the Wellingborough Council area.

The programme firstly offers people a benefits check, with a tax credits calculation to decide if a job is right for the jobseeker, secondly a training, skills and CV audit to help people write a CV, and finally, will provide people with volunteering opportunities if they are unable to work straight away but would like to learn new skills and improve their CV.

Wellingborough Council is funding the scheme and it is being delivered in partnership by Nene Valley Community Action and Central and East Northamptonshire Citizens Advice Bureau.

For information about benefits, phone 01933 229781 or email 3steps2work@nvcab.org.uk. Phone 01933 396382 or email 3steps2work@nvca.org.uk to book a training session or for more about volunteering.
