Corby Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the clinically led organisation responsible for commissioning local health services, has recently appointed Chris Pallot as director of commissioning and planning.
Mr Pallot will join the CCG at the end of June after having worked as director of strategy and partnerships at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust since January 2010.
He joined the NHS Management Training Scheme in 1995 after graduating from university and, since then, has gained postgraduate Diplomas in Marketing and Health Service Management and an MSc in Management.
During his career, Mr Pallot has held positions at Kettering General Hospital, the NHS Modernisation Agency, Northamptonshire Heartlands PCT and NHS Northamptonshire.
In his previous roles he has been responsible for operational management, service improvement and commissioning & contracting.
Mr Pallot said: “I am very excited to be joining such a well-respected and forward thinking CCG.
“I look forward to working with patients, clinicians and partner organisations to improve services for the people of Corby.”
