People took part in a three-hour zumbathon in Rushden to raise funds in memory of a little boy who died of meningitis.
The charity event was held at Rushden Community College on Saturday, April 6, to raise money for the Meningitis Research Foundation and the Motor Neurone Disease Association, in memory of three-year-old Jayden Nel from Rushden who died last year.
Hi mum Natalie took part in the marathon session. She said: “Everyone has been supportive and really nice.
“We have raised more than £2,000 for Jayden’s fund already.”
Zumabthon organiser Michelle Jones said: “Our aim was to raise as much money for the charities, while having as much fun as possible.”
