Last year, Corby Council asked residents for their views on the draft Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for Cottingham and Middleton.

Following the comments received, the council has now reviewed the draft document and made appropriate revisions.

A further consultation on the revised draft SPD is now being undertaken, beginning this Monday.

The public consultation period will run for six weeks from Monday, February 22, until Monday, March 28.

The consultation document reassesses the designated area and evaluates and records the special architectural and historic interest of Cottingham and Middleton.

Features such as listed buildings, unlisted buildings which make a positive contribution, trees and important views have been recorded.

The document can be viewed on the Council’s website www.corby.gov.uk/home/planning-and-building-control/planning-policy/planning-policy-consultations and will be available to view in hard copy at the One Stop Shop in the Corby Cube and mobile libraries.
