Kelmarsh Hall is holding its first-ever dahlia fiesta, which takes place every Sunday in September.

There will be almost 100 varieties of the flower on show, plus guided tours, demonstrations, children’s activities and plant sales.

Kelmarsh gardener Fiona Alexander said: “We’re hoping it will be the start of an annual celebration.”

It takes place each Sunday from 11am to 5pm. Adult tickets are £7.50, concessions available. Go to www.kelmarsh.com for details.
