Grants of up to £2,000 are up for grabs for projects that support voluntary and community groups in parts of Corby.
The new £20,000 KHL Big Local Community Chest Fund will also offer the grants to individuals working and volunteering to improve the wellbeing of residents within the Kingswood and Hazel Leys areas of the town.
The fund will give priority to projects working with children and young people, the environment, older and vulnerable people and diverse communities.
George Hill of KHL Big Local Partnership said: “This fund will support members of our Kingswood and Hazel Leys community and we are delighted to be working with Northamptonshire Community Foundation who have expertise in awarding and distributing grants.”
Northamptonshire Community Foundation grants director Rachel McGrath said: ‘We are delighted to be supporting KHL Big Local Community Partnership in the delivery of their neighbourhood fund.
“We will help train the local panel and reduce the administrative burden so that the members can really focus on making a positive difference to their local area.”
