Nominations are needed for individuals, groups and organisations who go above and beyond the call of duty to help others in their community.
Spire Homes and Keepmoat Property Services are teaming up again this year to deliver a second round of 12 good deeds in the run-up to Christmas.
After the success of last year’s dozen of deeds, the two organisations are again asking for people’s nominations across communities in Northamptonshire, Rutland and Leicestershire so they can bring some extra festive cheer before Christmas day.
They want to hear from anyone who would like to nominate an unsung hero from the community who deserves a small gesture this Christmas to thank them for all they do to help others.
Sharon Boot, customer engagement officer at Spire Homes, which is based in Rushden, said: “We were really pleased with how many people submitted ideas to support local community groups and celebrate unsung community heroes last year.
“We’d love to be able to do the same thing again this year.
“It could be giving someone a festive hamper, putting up some flat pack furniture for an older person, a visit from Father Christmas for a party, putting up shelving or donating food for a party - anything that would make a difference this Christmas to a worthy cause.”
The deadline for nominations is November 20 and the final 12 deeds will be chosen at the beginning of December.
The good deeds will be delivered in the run-up to Christmas.
An application form can be found on the Spire Homes website at www.spirehomes.org.uk/12deeds or applicants can call 0300 1236611 and ask to speak to the customer engagement team.
